I don't know if anyone has confirmed if there are still ways to dupe after the patch that was released just before SI came out. I decided that it'd be good to have a thread for this in the SI forum for easy access while we are discussing our favorite game in our favorite forum! Anyways, if anyone know if any methods work and if so which one(s) still work just post them here.

I'm pretty sure the dupe glitch has been fixed.

I haven't found any succesful dupe glitches yet. I'll keep trying though.

I found a Bug/Glitch in SI...
When you jump of the Suiside Cliff your supposed to die but I lived and went through the ground.
On a Differet character my horse(shadowmere) was on top of the portal.Then I found that Cutter's Floor(where she's standing) when an item is dropped on it, it go straight into her inventory and disapears.

Damn, this sucks if they really did fix them all. I hope someone figures out a new way to dupe.

If you weren't connected to xbox live you would still be able to use the glitch probably. What right do they have to reach out and change my gameplay without even telling me first what the patch would do? I spent many many hours setting up my game to play a certain way and they just destroyed all that preperation because I can't dupe anymore. My time is valuable and I feel as if Xbox Live just ripped me off. I'm going to call them and complain and get something for all the time I spent preparing my character counting on being able to dupe items. I can no longer make my super potion because I can't get more painted troll fat. WTF!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?


What abilities have the rest of you lost in your gameplay? We spent good money to have these games and they can't be drastically changing them if we don't want them to and still want to be online. There needs to be clearer disclosure than "If you do not update now you cannot get online..." crap.

I encourage everyone pissed that their oblivion game is broken now that they forced no duping on us to call Xbox Live and complain. Threaten to cancel you subscription if you don't get something for the time you lost preparing to play the game a certain way and now cannot despite spending good money to play this game/expansion/downloadable content.

X-Box LIVE bears no blame, they are just a service that allows you to get online, and access stuff, via your X-box...

And technically, the Dupe Glitch is just what it's name suggests, a GLITCH...I mean, if you were having gameplay issues, such as getting stuck in a corner, or the game freezing for a stupid reason, you'd want that fixed right? Well, not everyone likes the dupe glitch, and I agree that they shouldn't have removed it, after all, if you don't want to use it, you don't use it...

But you can't really complain about them fixing what is technically a problem, even if it has useful properties to it...The game wasn't supposed to be able to dupe items, but thanks to the glitch, it could...

That being said, I hope they unpatch the patch anyhow...I know, I know, sorta contradictory, but I'm just stating a fact...

They probably SHOULD tell you, what each patch does, just in case you don't want it...

Before I say this, I would like to say that I admit to using the dupe glitch in the past, but I think it is a good thing that they fixed it. It is the dupe GLITCH, and therefore bad coding on their part. Why should we complain abour them FIXING our game? If the glitch were hurting us(ie the not being able to comlete the cure for vampirism quest) then you would all be thankfull for it. For those of you who dont realize, the dupe glitch can cause problems to your save game. Sure its kind of funny sometimes, and yes, it can be very useful, but it was a GLITCH, and therefore a potential threat to your save data. Like all of you, I miss it sometimes, but it is nothing to rant and complain about.

I for one dont give a rats ass either way. The only thing I ever duped was arrows, but thats only because the recovery chance on them is really low. But now with SI, arrows are an easy find, what with the smiths and all.

You need to have at least 2 of the same type of any scroll in your inventory first off. Swing your sword and press the B button first off to go to your inventory, double click the A button on the set of scrolls that you have then drop the item you want to dupe.

And also supposedly the amount of scrolls you double clicked on will be the amount of items duped.

Can someone test this for me? Like I said I have not yet confirmed it.

Yeah, does anyone know of any common scrolls that would be easy to find two of? I want to try this out but I don't have two of any scrolls. Is there anyone here that can confirm this? Even if you do not dupe could you at least try it for us dupers?
