ive played shivering isles at my friends and was gonna download it but then i was told it screws up your game is this true?

Blue this is probably what you heard in the attached link. Look for the area in pink as it describes the bug they found. I haven't experienced any of these problems, but just wanted to make you aware

so theres no patch for it yet?

I just read up on this a bit and found that the bug doesn't show itself for at least 70 hours into game time. Since there isn't a patch for the 360 users, they are suggesting several things to extend game hours:

1. Always create a new save and never save over an existing save

2. If you need to pause, make sure you press "B" and go into one of the menus

3. If you need to wait (for instance you show up at a shop at 7 a.m. and it doesn't open until 8) make sure you don't just stand around, they recommend pressing the back button and wait for an hour

This is all stuff I just learned from reading the link posted above. I never really thought about it until this thread showed up. I have no first hand knowledge of this bug or anyone who has experienced or how likely any of us are in getting it.

I haven't encountered this, nor has anyone I play with.

Me either, I have 150+ hours on my 2 char's together and no probs, my loading screen froze once but when I put my HD on my friend's 360 it fixed it.

Yeah, I havn't had probs either...I havn't gotten Shivering Isles though...

I have like 140~something on one character, and like 4 or 5 Hours on another one...
