Basically, everytime i go up to a guard she always says " come with me to a quiet place and we will sort this out" blah blah blah. Anyway, i pay off my bounty (which is about 5000 gold i think) but i still have the bounty when ive payed it. Is there any kind of person in the shivering isles that can get rid of it like in Cyrodil where you could go to someone out the thieves guild?

I just googled this and everything I'm seeing says there's no way to get rid of your bounty like in Cyrodil. Its saying instead of going to jail your throw in in a dungeon without your stuff and if you can fight your way out, you will find all your stuff by the exit door and all is forgiven.

Im the king of the Shivering Isles and you dont get sent to jail. Instead they take you off to new sheoth graveyard and you have to pay your bounty. And i just cant pay mine off By the way: i do have enough gold to pay it off just in case anyone asks.

When you go to the graveyard then, does it say in the top left corner 5000 gold removed? What happens after you pay it? Do you walk out of the graveyard or are you transported somewhere? I'm thinking if you can walk out of it, maybe try talking to the guard again to see if the bounty is removed and its reupping again once you go back to town. This is a weird one neo-bender

well it doesnt say anything is removed. Im just taken to the Graveyard and then i just walk out..theres nobody around or anything not even the guard who took me. Its really annoying because i cant even go back to my castle or go into the town without being taken back to the graveyard and having to pay the bounty again without it being paid!!!!

So when a guard approaches you, she says you need to come with her to discuss things, but then she doesn't come with you? Have you explored the graveyard then? Is there something you have to do there to make this go away? I'm going to google the graveyard and see if it gives any insight

nope, im not a vampire. i also read on this forum that you can get rid of your bounty by using sheogoraths power where you get transported back to the palace when you are almost killed. I tried it....and it failed lol. Im losing hope lol

have you tried using a thieves guild fence?
or simply try and go back to the graveyard thats all i can think of

I've confirmed a thieves guild fence will NOT work in the isles.

I'm with neo-bender and losing hope I've been all over the internet looking for a solution to this and I've seen others that are having the same problem as neo-bender but they never follow up with a solution and I've seen others that get transported to the graveyard to pay their bounty and have reported its removed from their inventory immediately and they are free again...

try clearing the cache then or load an earlier save

I had a similiar issue at one point, I don't really know what to suggest though, I had to load an early save.

I hate to say this but i think this is a glitch or a bug of some kind in shivering isles.
I too have had this problem except i wasnt even given the choice to pay the bounty. They just try and take me away or i fight them and the bounty goes higher. I have the money to pay it off but no option to do so. I think this is just a problem they might have overlooked in SI. And i dont have a previous save either so i am stuck with it.
Hopefully, someone will come up with something to fix it!
