Martin O'Neil should be definitely in that list somewhere. They could still finish fifth still, which is the best any team not in the Big Four could realistically hope for.

I think Guus Hiddink deserves to be higher up. If he was there from the start I reckon Chelsea would of won the title.

Great list to be fair. Pray to God Hodgson wins Manager of the Year but I've no doubt Fergie will, especially if they win the CL. I know it shouldn't be brought into account but it will be.

Fergie Jr looks to be a tidy manager. I wonder if he'll come up against his dad in competitive play.

Hodgson, Pulis, Ferguson...I'd agree.
It's difficult to see what to base making a list like this on. There's so much to deal with. I mean, if Hiddink had started the season at Chelsea I wouldn't rule them out winning the title such is the impact he had on the club. But as the article says; too little too late. Martin O'Neill not being in the top ten is fairly ridiculous. Look at the whole season, he had Arsenal sweating about 4th place and then had a horrible dip of form. However, they will finish as people expected if not a bit better. Job done. Megson on the other hand has had a very uninspiring season. ------------------- ![]() | |
