What do you make of the little prick Defoe leaving his foot in on Gordon?

quote The RealestGot a round of 'that's why we sold you'. Don't have a clue if he dived or not, I only started getting picture back just as he was taking the penalty. I agree with Jmste, Gomes was the best player on the pitch. Still next week them twats on Sky like Merson will be giving him stick. Assou-Ekotto and Jenas I thought were both good aswell. Palacios needs a kick up the arse. -------------------

quote SweeneyStream was down so I didn't see it. I will have to see on MOTD. quote DannyidoThey were all saying today we need a new keeper. Gomes IMO is quality. Yes he can make a few mistakes, most goal keepers do but still he can pull off some amazing saves. I bloody hope Harry doesn't get rid of him for James. And yeah I have to agree with you, Ekotto and Jenas were good. Corluka and Palacios were our worst players, I just don't know what is up with Palacios lately. I think we should give Naughton a go, only in a home game though. Looks a decent player and plus he gets forward, Corluka rarely does it.

Ramsey starting.... I like it, but would have expected Wenger to choose Diaby for this. Wolves are a tall, strong team. Ramsey's looked great when he's come on in games that were wrapped up, will be interesting to see him from the start. I hope he does well.

Chimbonda's attempted Punch, Defoe leaving his boot in, Bent missing his first Penalty in the Prem, and Kettering beating Hartlepool in the FA Cup.

Yeah I saw that, at first I thought it meant Fabregas must be rested. I'm not too sure about anyone being able to fulfil Song's role as well as the man himself can.

Just seen the penalty incident. He was on his way down before Gomes made contact, similar to Rooney in the Arsenal game earlier this season. Defoe would have done the same thing if it was down the other end, not to say I agree with it but every striker does it and it will always be given as a penalty.
To the Spurs fans signing 'that's why we sold you', how many goals have your strikers scored in the league this season compared to Bent again? -------------------

Jones; he's the one who's scored the same amount as Keane and one less than Defoe.

Bent has 8 in 9, Defoe has 5 in 6.
Pretty similar records if you ask me. I don't see your point -------------------
