Jebus H. Christ, i've seen the new coverage, and wtf, the sabers are freaking overweight. Hilts are like 4 inches thick, and the blades, 6. There's an image dropped in the recent game informer, where Vader is overlooking a child Starkiller, who's holding what appears to be his future adult-hood saber, but the damned thing is like a football in his hands (hilt). Yet even in later shots, with adult characters, the sabers are still JUMBO, ya know?

Anybody else bugged by this?

Not really , they are are little bit chunky but nothing to too much to make me concerned, for me some of the light sabres were sometimes too thin... Not in this game, of course im talking about in other games and movies.

Firstly the lightsaber he is holding is Vader's. Supposedly Vader is attacking Kashyyk and young starkiller instinctively force pulls Vaders lightsaber from him as he is about to kill the boys father.

Secondly...I don't know what you mean by the sabers. Have you played the demo? They're not THAT big in-game as in reference to the screens...

A Jedi master knows how to master his lightsaber and the main problem with lightsabers is that the beam coming out of it is light as but the handle is heavy so there is no counter balance. You have to be like a Jedi to actually master one of those, it's not as easy as you would think. A Jedi makes his/her own lightsaber so they do it to how they feel most comfortable with it so they can make one with a heavy handle or a light handle.

Now that i think about it, it would feel so wierd waving that thing about then all of a sudden your hands are dragged back due to the fact you hit something.

They make their lightsaber's based on what they feel comfortable with, be it a fat handle or slim handle.

when star was episode 2 came out on dvd it came with a book about all the weapons and vehicles and it saying about lightsabre blades adjustable to users comfort saying about obi wan likes his blade small and thick and anikin likes his lightsabre long and thin (please no rude jokes i thought that when i first read the book )

The sabers are like a real sword it deppeneds on the user on how it is made but also u should be aboul to fight with any sword but u have to sheft your whight to mach the sword.
