	I don't know if this has been asked before, but is there any known reason why Nintendo hasn't released this this awesome game to the Virtual Console? I don't know if I should keep saving my 800 points or use em off This game rocked big time when it came out, it's a shame it's not out yet ------------------- Iowa Link \| Please sign my G.B

	I thought it had to be with some copyright controversy, but I wasn't sure. The reason I ask is because this game is one of my all time favorite Snes games and it would rock if they ported it to the VC ------------------- Iowa Link \| Please sign my G.B

	The onus is on Square Enix, not fully Nintendo. They haven't supported the VC as much as people would like, believing that they could get higher revenue streams by releasing remakes of their properties. There's also the fact that the father of Final Fantasy, Hironobu Sakaguchi, and Square Enix parted on bad terms. 	Or because they don't want to release all the amazing games right away and can prolong people buying games, by adding random NES/Turbograffics games, with one big game every couple of months. -------------------

	As Akira_EX has already said, they are holding back because they believe that they can make more money by remaking their games. It would be nice to see a remake of Chrono Trigger at some time but odds are it will not be on VC unless they think it will be an unprofitable remake (unlikely). ------------------- .:[Sega Forum\|Nintendo Forum]:.

	let's hope for a remake then... They have been very conservative releasing the good games to the VC tho, the last one I bought was SMB 3 since then I hadnt seen too many interesting games in the VC ------------------- Iowa Link \| Please sign my G.B

	Square-Enix HQ: "Hey, everyone in Japan AND America AND Europe wants us to put Super Mario RPG and Chrono Trigger on the Nintendo Virtual Console. Why havn't we yet?" "Because, we can make quadruple the money by just re-releasing on the PSP or DS!" I love Square, but they care more about their pockets stuffed with money than happy fans. Thankfully their remakes usually turn out to be good.
