Does anyone know if there is any chance we might get that game? I know what you guys are gonna say: The game was made by Rare and Rare sold their soul to Microsoft. But THAT game is still owned by Nintendo. And someone said somewhere's getting Donkey Kong Country wich was also made by rare... so anyone know anything?

All the DKC games have already been released on the Wii VC. =/ Donkey Kong is a trademark of Nintendo which is why all of his games have appeared on the VC regardless who the developers were. Conker is not a Nintendo trademarked character. The right to Conker (and Banjo-Kazooie) were retained by Rare when they were bought out by Microsoft and thus are now Microsoft's property. Perfect Dark is another example of this, a title originally released on N64 but was lost due to the acquisition of the company. A port of Perfect Dark is scheduled to be released on Xbox Marketplace sometime this winter. The most you'll get for Conker is possibly a port of Conker's Bad Fur Day on the 360, but that is something I haven't heard would be offered anytime soon. Regardless, I wouldn't expect to get your hopes up of ever seeing the game on the Wii VC.

Best just treasure that cartridge on the N64 (if you still have it).

Saddly I never owned the game. I only rented it over and over till I was sick of playing. XD Oh well,maybe I'll just buy a 64 at Game Zilla they're only 60$ with 2 controllers and a couple of games they might have that game in there too. Anyways as sad as this is,thanks for the info.

And again, why even bring up Live and Reloaded. If someone is looking for Conker's Bad Fur day, it's asinine to even suggest the inferior version on an old system. It's going to be just as troublesome finding that version as it is to finding the superior original on the N64.

You don't have your 64 anymore? Ouch. No matter what people considered the system as, it'll always be a treasure to me, much like my SNES, NES and GCN (even though I retired it away into storage but I still play all my GCN on the Wii now). I have only ever once sold a video game system, just once and I regret it to this day... Virtual Boy. Bought one brand new years after it came out and failed. Brand new for either $30 or $50; can't remember, I think it was $30. Only came with Mario Tennis, played it for a week, then returned it to Walmart and got my money back. Like I said, I regret it to this day. That thing is a collector's item now.

I was browsing ebay and I saw a ton of CBFD for bid. Might want to also check what is being offered for an N64 if you decide to go that route. Seeing a ton of package deals with games and controllers, but you also want to be cautious if it's still in working condition. Prices are ranging all over the place. Just something to look into if you have no luck at your local video game stores as you mentioned they had one already.

Now that I think about it, I should try finding a Virtual Boy on ebay.

Edit: Found one for a starting bid of $40 or a guaranteed purchase of $50. I should get that. Saw some sellers asking $250 for one. Yeah, right.
