Impressions: This game is awesome. Just like the original, even on PSP they really put effort into awesome menus, immersive car sounds, realistic handling...
It's delivered on all my expectations, in the first few minutes.
Drifting is fantastic! You can also drift in a normal race, the handling engine lets you slide.

The bad? I think they've taken out damage, which is a darn shame, and there's a chick to guide you through the game who typically uses crappy street talk to sound cool. Plus some people won't like the race commentary.

Ps. Most of that drifting is done outside the drift events, in normal racing. That's how good it is

This screenshot is apalling. It's another of the Australian cars, the Holden Monaro that the new Pontiac GTO was built off.
The screenshot is this, but as you can see, the vents look completely messed up in comparison. What's more, the rims are based off the series 1, but the rest of the car is the series 3.
This is the car the rims are taken from.
As you can see, no vents, and if you look closely different fog lamps and bumper too.
I mean, not many games have the Aussie cars in them, and then they do to please us, and they mess it up.



So far, unlocked 60 cars, and there are plenty more to go. Pretty good for a PSP game

Got around to visually modding my S2000, after I realized I would be keeping it long term.



Found a Koenigsegg to rub up against
The idea with that race is, to unlock a mod part, I had to race that with a few seconds handicap, and try and beat it over one lap. I won

Unlocked some Corvettes. Z51 and Z06.


Just a nice shot of my S2000. Funny, it's gone up in value to around $200,000 from winning races. I could sell it for a lot, makes pink slips races all the more tense.

I've been experimenting with pearl, standard kinda jobs. Like my red NSX that changes from dark to light and then dark again as you rotate around.
The Corvette does the same thing, but with blue.

Note how much more expensive the Zonda is, I think it's coined as the best car in the game, despite the presence of the Koenigsegg.

Passed it. Not 100%, but I got a tad bored, and Manhunt 2 comes out tomorrow.


Gripes: There are a few glitches. The framerate suffers occasionally, nothing to really worry about. Sometimes, in the high powered races, it's possible for other cars to jump the fence (and they do when there are 6 cars on the track), causing them to respawn on the track. This happened in front of me in the final race of the game, I ran into them and it was disastrous. Won though. Other than that, very good game, if not a tad easy.
