Offline Multiplayer? |
|
Is there any?
I've got the trial game, and it doesn't seem like there is, but it says in the How To Play that Worms is a great party game. That's a lame-ass party, right there, if it's online-only. That's not a party at all. That just sucks.

Woo!
Can it be accessed in the trial version? Edit: Wait, were you saying "yes, there is offline multiplayer" or "yes, that sucks"? This message was edited by Uzumaki Kiba on Mar 22 2007.

Heh. I haven't played any of the "Worms" games specifically, but I've played many of the other games like it. I dig that whole... Is it a genre? Just that type of game.
Anyway, I found out there is some offline multi-player in the trial. It allows for two players playing two teams, but the thing trying to convince me to buy it says that there can be up to four players in the full game. Is that four different teams or just two people playing on each team?

I played offline multiplayer today with a mate. We used different controllers, and were on different teams. So I'd say there's a pretty solid offline multiplayer experience here.

Worms is in the turn-based strategy genre.
and 4 player means 4 player. 4 teams. red, blue, green and yellow. 4 teams is hella fun! ok, i never played offline multi on this version of Worms. i didnt know you could use separate controllers. on the PC versions, multiple players on the same computer would have to take turns with the keyboard, hence the "pass the controller" bit. ------------------- ![]()

Thank you! Turn-based strategy. I think somewhere in the back of my mind, I knew that, so it was bothering me extra.
And that'll be awesome, four teams goin' at once. I'm so buyin' the full version. I just used the last of my points of SOTN ('cause it rules) but this is next on the list. And thank you, Shinobi_Razor, for answering my questions, being helpful and just generally kicking ass. You rock.

Hah, no, but thanks for the offer.
Anyway, why would you want a male groupie?
