I was in town today and was reading PSW while shopping in Tescos with the girlfriend. There was an article about DLC and it claimed that MM are working on a Ratchet & Clank Level Pack (just like the MGS pack). I was pleasantly surprised. Hope it's true.

From what I was told it's ture. They also say it's going to be bigger the the MGS pack

I'm guessing guns that blow up stuff.

Might be that slingshot thingy. That would be awesome

I'll definitely be getting this. I'm hoping for uncharted and resistance stuff too, since MM seem to be doing PS3 exclusive content.

your right. but really? u think its gonna be another gun. try ratchets wrench. a melee weapon. that would be the obvious choice. or it could be the time thing clank gets in a crack in time. or it could be the boost boots.

I think you were right on with your first thought there muluboman. The one thing that has been consistent in Ratchets inventory since the beginning is his wrench.

Beyond that they could actually go a step further and have several weapon add ons. They could have the wrench and another gun or two. That alone would make it bigger than the MGS level pack. Then add 5 or more levels and a ton of sound and objects and there you go. Everyone is happy for a while.

Was there teleporter machines in R&C? Maybe something to do with spaceships?
About the melee thing, I always imagined they would do that with a game with a sword or something. Or, I know it's not exclusive so it won't happen but, the like of Castlevania where the Sackfolk could use their arms to aim the whip.
Then again, trying to aim with a melee weapon the same way as the paintinator would be tricky, unless it's got good range.

I think a wrench to swing around with the right stick and a slingshot which is used similar to the paintinator would be great.

well maybe it will be bigger by them having like 10 levels instead of 5. they havent had any level packs in a while so you never know. (but also have the wrench) and the thing clank gets would be cool cuz u could make copies of yourself. therefore you could do a x2 thing by yourself. pretty nifty.

Didn't they already make a Chimera costume? It's not a whole level pack but it's something to do with the game.
