Stuff you'd like to see (or not see) in Empire Earth III

Just thought I'd get some discussion rolling on what kind of stuff you'd like to see in EE3.

I think I'd be happy if the soldiers actually had a command to follow the road you built. That'd be sweet.

Perhaps an easy to use uploadable custom games option like there was in Age of Mythology.

I am looking forward to playing City Builders in Empire Earth also, I loved those.

How about you guys?

I'd like to see the return of Area of Effect buildings vs. the territory system.

I also hope this time they have more accurate prehistoric (sp?) Epoch, like in ee1.I loved building thousands of rock throwers and duking it out with the computer over who has sharper sticks.

I also hope the centralized tech system is removed.Make it more like EE1 where you had to research a new unit to get it.Make techs cost resources, not gay, worthless tech points.

Another thing they MUST have this time around is improved naval importance.I don'y know how, but they need to make sea travel in later epochs worth it.Everyone just uses planes and transport helicopters in late epochs.

I might be expecting too much, but they also need to have better campaigns and single player.The EE2 AI falls apart like jenga during an earthquake, and the campaigns weren't at all fun.

I haven't found RTS campaigns all that great anyways, so any campaign would do it I just love the multiplayer.

Yea definitely, since new technology usually comes about only when people have enough resources to be leisurable and research things.

And the area of effect thing is better then defined territories since in real life the defined borders are imaginary anyways.

i would like to see it more like EE1, lots of epochs, custom civ's.

better garrison options like town centre (AOE2 style)

simple game play like - rather than resource changes like saltpeter. that really pissed me off not realising that i had a bunch of bludgers cause i didn't need saltpeter any more.

remove limit of town centres in a territory, or simply remove territories.

a way to plant trees (think settlers style)

more racially specific units. like air craft, tanks etc

that'll do for starters.

I would like to see each civilization get specific technology and architecture and keep technology precise to each epoch.
