To contrary belief, Bowser is actually the best at 100m dash. He can mange 9.250 or so, whereas Sonic and Shadow can barely break 9.800. Knuckles speed and power makes him lethal at Javelin Throw, and by the way; Daisy isn't even in top tier, let alone the best. She's "good" I suppose, at Long Jump and Triple, but Peach outshines her by about .300, making her useless. It's not that she's bad, persay, it's just she's outshined in her best events. Never ever use Bowser for 100m freestyle though, same with Sonic; they just flop around. Weegee and Yoshi are the way to go. Amy and Daisy are only alright. Daisy has a decent spread of stats, but, she doesn't do as well as other characters.
*sigh*... 10m platform is a skill events, therefore Daisy isn't that great, seeing as she's speed. Peach, Tails, Waluigi and Eggman are the way to go, mainly Peach. Waluigi and Eggman are too tall to stay aligned well. 400m hurdles, is Peach all the way. Her lethal combo of speed and skill makes her a running turbo after each hurdles, and during the final dash her speed allows her to save around .100 of a second or so. 400m itself is Tails all the way, due to his high Stamina, and his speed itself is alright. By saying this though, you need to know how to manage Stamina well and have some quick stylusness. | |

I use Shadow at everything except hammer throw and occasionally swimming. For hammer throw I use Vector or Knuckles. For swimming I use either Sonic or Tails because Tails does the dog paddle and Sonic does underwater runing just like land running.
