I guess U people already know that Uncharted is going to be Naughtydogs new ranchise since they canceled jak.

What would you like to see in the next game ?

I hope they don't make it a direct sequel because with a character like Nathan Drake, you can make any kind of adventure, sort of like the broken sword games.

My fantasy Uncharted 2 would be set in a colder place, Nathan being hired to find som ancient treasure by some rich guy/corporation and when he finds it he gets killed by the evil guy/corporation but survives and now he must stop them from using the treasure for some evil reason...something like that. Share your ideas, it's fun.

I think that they could improve stealth a bit more because all you could do in this game was walk up behind them and hope they don't turn around

But this game isn't really about stealth. Nathan isn't a trained soldier or anything. He is something of a cavalier scientist more akin to Indiana Jones. It might be nice if the enemies didn't know exactly where you were the second you shot. Give them a bit more realistic AI than the rather simplistic run at Nathan AI they seemed to have going on. But I don't think they should try to turn it into another MGS.

I'd like to see the next one in a cold place, too. Maybe Siberia. Antarctica would be too much of a cliché, imo.

yea the cliche thing about antarctica but hey this whole jungle thing was pretty cliche 2 ..some old mayan treasure hidden in some uncharted jungle typical..

The russian tundra maybe, and then you could have aliens in the game to, you know the conspiracy about that meteor that struck russia in the 20's or something, that be cool. He could be hired by the government to find something there and when he finds it the dispose of him but he survives and has to stop them from extracting the ufo or something because if they get it out of there...it will be bad, so, I reworked my story a bit, this sounds cool right ?

how about more expansion on the characters? nathan eddie and navarro seemed to know each other very well, they could turn that into a story, and who thinks eddie isnt dead? you dont see a body, you dont here a kasplat after he falls, he could still be alive! he should be, him and drake just went so well with each other but you only see him in three scenes and then the "spoiler" people, get to him

Yeah I was thinking where they should set the next game and the best I could come up with was a snowy setting. It would be too repetitive to have it in a jungle again, unless it was a rain forest or something?

Whoooo...Long time since I checked this thread, but I just came to think about it a couple of months ago when I was looking at some pictures from Uncharted 2. It's kinda cool that they went with the snowy setting like I wanted...Maybe they read this thread and saw my ideas and thiught they were good...who knows, any day now they maybe standing outside my door and telling me I'm hired as their new creative director...who knows.

I hope that eddie is still alive, I liked how he and Drake interacted.

Although I have to agree about the stealth issues. i hope that they make that much easier, and not as simple as, like the Jammaster said, hust walk up behind your foes and hope that they dont turn around.
