Oakland Raiders [Rebuilding a Franchise] |
![]() The Raiders, currently, have three Super Bowl championships under their belt. The Raiders first won a Super Bowl in '76 against the Vikings. In '78 and '79, the Raiders didn't even make it to the playoffs; but they made an impact in '80 when they beat the Eagles at Super Bowl XV. Right after that win, in '81, they were back to not even making it into the playoffs. However, in '82, the Raiders relocated and renamed to the Los Angeles Raiders. After losing to the Jets in the '82 playoffs, the Raiders came back in '83 to beat the Redskins 38-9 at Super Bowl XVIII. However, in 1983, that would be the last Super Bowl they won. The Raiders, once again, relocated back to become the Oakland Raiders once again in '95. Things didn't start to look up for the Raiders until 2000, when they finally got back to the playoffs after 6 long years, but fell short and lost to the Ravens in the conference championship. In 2001, Raiders got back into the playoffs via wildcard when they beat the Jets, but shortly lost the divisional playoffs to the Patriots. In 2002, however, they Raiders finally made it to the playoffs after 19 very long years, only to fall short and lose to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers; 48-21. Since then, the Raiders haven't been into the playoffs, and things aren't looking much better after only winning 2 games in the 2006 season. Will the Raiders be able to make it back up to being a great team like they once were? ------------------- ![]() SEASON RECORD: 4-2 [next: @ st. louis rams]

I just got done with training camp, and just simmed the preseason. We ended up with a 0-4 record, which is good, in a way. Raiders went 4-0 in the 2006 preseason, and only won two games in the regular season, so maybe this is a sign. ------------------- ![]() SEASON RECORD: 4-2 [next: @ st. louis rams]

You might want to change the score from the game against the Broncos. You left it 27-14 in the Browns game. ------------------- ![]()

Ah, a Raiders Diary. I've been waiting for one of these for a while. Anyway, I really like the diary. You must be really good, because you're winning on All-Pro pretty easily. ------------------- ![]()
