re: ¿Are Gwendolyn's wings real? |
|
Odin has no wings, so thast must mean Gwendolyns mother did. This must also mean that the wing genetic is over all a dominant gene, especially for girls since there are no male Valkyries. When you play teh game, there is a SHITLOAD of Valkyries you fight against, I think its safe to say that the wing gene is dominant.

Odin has wings, there those little pathetic looking black things sticking out of his back.
![]() Although, I think if we were to think anything was odd, biologically, we should consider the Unicorn Knight. Either that is a very mishapen person, or the dude finds comfort in wearing a horse-shaped helmet complete with horesshoe boots. ------------------- PSN: Esoterika Playing: Mother 3, LittleBIGPlanet, Crisis Core Wanted: Skate 2 Waiting patiently for: Star Ocean Second Evolution

If her wings are real, she could move her wings like a bird. Look at her real pose (On Cd case) it just the part for her skirt. She could use her wings for glide and she doesn't have flying ability like Mercedes.

Tarbucks what are you talking about
Mercedes wing's are a completelty diffrent kind of wing compared to Gewn's. They shouldnt be compared. Also, Iam looking at the cover, it has nothing at all to do with wether or not her wings are real. ------------------- ![]() "Rock and you shall recieve"

Besides, real or not, Gwen's body mass would be too much to support flight. However she is probably light enough for a glide and an occasional (and physically impossibe) updraft.

No the wings aren't real. Wel they are 'real' just not 'part of her body'. She wears them as part of her armr - all valkaries do. The comment he makes about 'cutting off her wings' is about shaming her. I could just as easily say to a Hoppolite: "I'll destory your shield an banish you".
For a Hoppolite, their shield was everything (as well as their spear of course So the feather fell from her armor 'wings' and he kept it. Further proof - they are attached to her waist (or hips) and not her back. Odin's "wings" are decorative and not part of his body either. This message was edited by Xen Xander on Mar 09 2008.

I have no idea if her wings are real or not but, at the end-
***DONT READ IF YOU DONT WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS TO GWEN AT THE END*** (Just a precaution, I'm not mentioning much, just something that has to do with her wings after the final battle *shrugs*) She loses her wings. Also, in the final battle, the scene before you start fighting she's clearly flying around. I can only imagine that that boss is god knows how high up in the air. We've only seen her glide on the regular levels, close to the ground, but in the last battle she's all the way up there with that thing-I-shouldn't-mention Anyways, also, I was thinking about the scene at the beginning of Gwendolyn's book where she flies down with the other Valkyries. I was wondering if they were high up in the air then too... so I suppose, I'd believe, that they are real.

Also at gwen's book when there was a soldier that arrived just before you depart for ringford you can see she "glided" all the way to the old castle terrace now how DID SHE fly without landing at some point

no,they're not real.
Its possible to keep her in the air forever,u just double jump&glide,then gain speed,hold up,and after 1-2 seconds,release to continue"flying",but don't attack,or she'll just dive ------------------- NO U!
