What do you think is the most important instrument of the band?
I'd say the drummer, as the drummer gives everyone the beat to the song and so if they are terrible, it messes with your mind and messes you up. Although, I'd like to see other's opinion on the most important instrument of the band. -------------------  It's out now! - Abbey Road is incredible. | |

I agree. The rock meter (or whatever it's called in this game) seems to dip down faster when the drummer is playing bad, rather than when the guitarist isn't doing well.

still it may be a disscussion but so far ive seen all drums so thats why i said tht, cuz if everyone says drums whats the point?

being in a band i say all parts are equal you cant have a good band without any of them in real life except mabey getting two guitarist if you lost a bassist but i still say all equal

No way to all you drummers. Sure the drums give us the rythm of the song, but the Guitar gives us the memorable moments. Come on "Smoke on the water" or "Iron Man" with out a guitarist think about it.

I say the drummer is very respectable, and I can say that I SUCK at it terribly, I'm much better at the others, but I really could't tell you what is the most important...Probably the hairstylist and the costume designer! lol, jk

i say to be an excellent drummer is very respectable. theres so many extraordinary drummers out there that it makes it hard to be in a band seeing how if you play guitar you can still pick up bass or have two leads. a great singer is very respectable too but once more soo many people out there that can hold a note but they just weeded out like they're nothing.

The Bass and Drums are even. They both give you, as a listener, the beat to get into, and they also keep the beat for the whole band to play off of. Without a good foundation any song will fall apart.
But personally i like the bass better. ------------------- Time flows like a dark horde, consuming all in its path...For most they will see a fog seeping from the box, as they witness an image of hell.
