dont know whether to post this on guitar hero forum or here, but of the 2 which one would you get if your mainly playing 1 player, i've played guitar hero, haven't played rockband

just wondering if i'd be dissapointed if i bought rock band or not (especially spending 170 bucks)

If you're mainly playing alone, I would recommend Guitar Hero as it's built around a single player experience. I would only recommened it if you like trying to best your high scores after you've already beaten the game though.

Rock Band still has a surprisingly good single player experience and would probably last longer than Guitar Hero. You can play through all of the instruments and songs on your own or play online cooperatively or competitively with random people, not necessarily friends.

Both are great choices, so it should probably come down to money and whether or not you like playing songs you've already beaten over again for higher points, which a lot of people enjoy.

so rock band has a fun single player too, thats the only thing, i know i like guitar hero, but nobody rents rock band up here, and none of my friends have it and i'd like to try it before i buy it

I personally like Rock Band better, I have both. You can do a lot more than just guitar with Rock Band, and it is a lot more fun when you're playing with friends, but I play it by myself, also.

yea, i think RockBand is better then Guitar hero, I OWN ON THE DRUMS man, its so kool, wat other game lets u do that, ill tell u, NONE!!!

rock band all the way, gh is so lame. when i play it i want to go to sleep... its fun as a game, but it lack music vaule
