Mostly just messing around. I might use it to help with the music I make for my RPG Maker games. Making drum parts with an MIDI sequencer is a pain in the ass.

We're aiming for a double FC of (Take These) Chains, possibly You've Got Another Thing Coming, and possibly Bloodstone. Riding on the Wind we will gold star, Screaming for Vengeance I'm hoping to nail at least a 90-100% run on the solo, and everything will be recorded..

Anyone else prefer the GH guitar over RB's? I for one just can't seem to get used to the RB guitar. Did this happen to you all also, was it hard to transition over or is it just me?

Everybody prefers the GH guitar.

I've played with the Stratocaster so much that I pretty much prefer it over my Les Paul. My Les Paul is terrible. The yellow fret doesn't register all the time, and it's a pain when you alternate strum.

Ugh. I played through (Take These) Chains and got to around 89% of the 2nd solo (about 10 seconds left before the song was over) to choke on an extremely easy note, therefore not getting the FC!

Talk about aggravating.

Has anyone checked out Rock Revolution? Yet another game similar to Guitar Hero. Apparently the company that's making it, Konami, were the first to use the idea of using instrument peripherals to play music virtually though. They came out with Guitar Freaks and Drum Mania before Guitar Hero was even in production.
