I have kinda a stupid question.
How the hell do you play bass? I mean, like in solo tour mode. The game automatically puts me on guitar when I have a guitar plugged in, but the guitar controller should work for both, so why don't I get the option to play bass? ------------------- Yes, I am a girl!

You can't. I think RB 2 has it as an option, but they ignored it for RB1.
Yeah, I'm not pleased by that either. Bass is my fave, I like the sound of it, and it is more fun if you're just into casual gameplay, since it is easy. BTW: I have a couple/few Gold star Bass tracks myself, which is something considering I'm supposed to be rhythmically challenged (at least according to my Elementary school music teacher XD).... ------------------- | |

In RB2 you can choose to play either guitar or bass in the world tour. Apparently you can't in RB1, so it looks like you're outta luck. I don't see why you would want to though. Bass is boring, save for a few select songs. Why waste time playing easy bass songs when you can get better at guitar if you're not good at it?

You can, however, play the tracks in Quickplay if you really want to play the Bass tracks.

all the Bass songs in this one are way boring anyhow.
