Can sumone plz tell me how many points you need to get to unlcok a new character in all levels of the mercenaries.

4 star or above unlocks a character.

Mercenaries mode is hard. I have only tried it once, I thought I did pretty good but I only got a two star rating.

once you unlock everyone and get 5 stars on every level with everyone you can get the hand cannon for purchase in the main story mode

i'm bad. i got 5-stars on all and own the handcannon but it's hard.

listen i'm tired of going everywere and people are saying MERCENARIES is hard not really.... leon use ur pistol on ganados and monks shotgun on bossses aim for head of thing on the garrador's back. ada pistol or tmp rifle on bosses hunk gerandes and his tmp to face plus neck breaker wesker force palm and rifle on bosses krauser...arm duh oh and to kill the big dr salvador in water world shoot him with rifle shotgun grenades or krausers arm:|

I can't seem to get five stars with anyone other that krauser and HUNK. It is especially hard with ada and wesker.

you need to get 90,000 points i think to 5 star it.

To unlock charecters on each level you need about 30,000 points to get 4 stars. 60,000 to get 5 stars.

Krauser is the easiest to get 5 stars with.

Leon-village:

Weapons: Blacktail, Riotgun.

Strategy:

try to pick all the timers 1st, and avoid killing any ganados at the moment, just shoot them in the knees for now with the blacktail or use the knife, now, try to get 1st the low timers, and go trough the barn, trough the door, you should have gained wuite a few stroll of ganados there, shoot em all with the riotgun, but when tehy are close up, if you hear chainsaws, keep an eye for the mummy face womans, caus ethats the sing to run, to escape from the door, you must shoot the mummy faced womans now, run to the left of the church killign any ganados, but moving shoot an move, now, turn back, and use the blacktail until you see the bella's commign wait until they are close and riot gun them, and run to the gate, if you are runnign out of time, just go to the barn, climb up the stairs, grab the timer, grab the bonus timer, and start shooting the red barrel, or just use the riot gun/knife (wait until the bella's are climbing up and then knife them to trow them to the floor, you must not let em get to the 2nd floor), now with lear sigth, and if youa re lucky, go and get the 90 sec timer, and keep getting ganados behind your back, go to the door until you see the bella's (mumy face womans)and keep repeating the strategy (the special timers should be grabbed AFTER the 2 or 3 waves of bella's are dead).

Leon-castle:

Weapons: blacktail-Riot gun.

Strategy:

keep moving, destroy the barrels with the knife, and go to the 2nd floor kill some ganados go trough the door and kill more zealots (monks) go to the tower, and if you have a grenade, after you get the special timer trow it to clear the way, acend to the 4th floor, kill some zealots, pick an other timer, and now go trough the door and go back a little, you shoudl see 2 shield zealots, riot gun them, afterwards, you are onto a huge open area, keep killing the zealots here, for easy combo, but you must not go to the HUGE room, this will trigger 1 or 2 zealots, tehy can be triggered simultaneously, and in mercenaries leon is the worst character EVER.

Leon-Military base:

NOT AN EASY STAGE, to survive effciently, you must try to lure to you as many ganados you can, and kill as many JJ's as you can, each JJ is worht around 5000 or 10000 points, keep the mass murdering, use small corners, not a lot to say, abuse of the special timers.

Leon-Waterworld:

1st RESET OIF YOU ARE IN THE TOWER, the key to this thing is control, as always for leaon lure as many enemies and riot gun them, after the 30th enemy is down, uickly go to the house NOT KILLING SOLDIERS, the reason is that after the 30th streak a dr salvador will show up in a place, either onto a house or onto the 2 floor house (the one that doesnt have ladders watching to the sea), SHOT GUN TEH DAMN SALVADOR UNTIL HE IS DEAD WITH GOOD AIM NEAR 5-10 BULLETS SHOUDL DO THE WORK, repeat afterwards until you get to the point of a new 30 strike, it wont be easy but try to keep a written mark of how many enemies, abusing of the stage barrels is a good idea,

PS: tomorrow i will post ADA, HUNK and WESKER strategies.

I got the hand cannon yesterday. My favorite on the village level is HUNK. When you stun the bella sisters you can go up and break their necks. AWESOME!

yep thats the main advantage of HUNK, but its lack of flash grenades makes him hard+ his kick doesnt deals a lot of damage, ill continue posting the strategies for everybody else.



ADA-Village:

Weapons: Puninsher, TMP, semi auto rifle, Incendiary grenades.

Strategy:

easy stage for ada (yes it is) use the puninsher (if im not mistaken thats Ada's weappn for here the blacktail is for her sidequest) to stun the enemies and shot em on the head finish with a kick, as always be on the watch for the sisters, and obviosly for the timers, use the incediary grenades on the sisters and run as far as you canf rom them, then use the Semi auto rifle in order to shoot em from distance is better this way than risking a neck chop from eithers of teh sisters, or you could try the barn strategy, try and get a lot of people around you go to the barn not killing any one climb over, get your TMP out, use incendiary grenades and then TMP in order to finish anys tanding ganados, if the bella's are there shoot the red barrel, keep avoiding enemies if dont use the barn trick, and go near the church shoot all of the enemies down to avoid any complications and rise your combo.

ADA-Castle:

Weapons: puninsher, TMP, semi auto rifle, incendiary grenades.

Strategy:

somewhat an easy stage for ADA, due that here are TONS of zealots, i'd recomend using the puninsher A LOT due that it can go trough enemies is easier for ADA to kick but as always keep moving, keep moving use TMP as needed, but keep kicking until you get to the 4th floor, again dotn enter were the garradors are, not a good idea unless you are kill full, use an incediary grenade and shoot the parasite with the SA rifle, for an easy kill, still is risky, if you dont enter, go free witht hte TMP to kill all the nemies, i always recomend this floor due that in here the enemies actually respawn unlimited times, keep killing until you drop.

ADA-Military base.

Weapons: puninsher, TMP, SA rifle, incediary grenades.

Strategy: much an easier stage to ada than leon, keep killing bucnhs of enemies, if you see a JJ use the SA rifle to kill him quickly, between more JJ's keep killing them, and keep stocking enemies,a lso keep obtaining the timers, here the time is short.


ADA-water world:

weapons: puninsher, TMP , SA rifle, incediary grenades.

strategy:

use the TMP in most cases, avoid using the grenades, when you ahve 30 strike RUN to one of the 2 points were the super salvadors show up, so use a grenade to "stun them " and use the SA rifle, for a quick kill.



HUNK-village.

weapons: TMP-Grenades, neck breaker (HUNKS special move)

strategy: HUNK major strengh its his TMP, how?, just shoot the enemie in the head and break their neck, or be wise, get a bunch of enemies, go to the barn use a grenade, and repet, wehnt he bella's show up. shoot em of the face, and yes break their necks!, now get an other bunch and trow a grenade, easy score up for you.

HUNK-Castle:

Weapons: TMP, grenades.

strategy: use the TMP and get your way all over the 4th floor, kill here as always, dont try to get your way to the garradors, avoid them, at any cost.

HUNK-military base.

Weapons: TMP, grenades.

strategy: as always get bunchs of enemies and use the grenades to score quick kills, if you see a JJ, empty your TMP on his head ASAP.

HUNK-waterworld.

weapons: TMP

Strategy:use as always, the TMP, and get a bucnh of enemies, go all the way to the DR salvador spots, use a grenade and the TMP to kill them, it migth not be easy but its the best thing due to salvy not beign ina ction on the point.

Wesker-village:

weapons: Handgun with silencer, killer 7, SA rifle, grenades, flash grenades, incediary greandes, trust pucnh and chigio Kagi.

Strategy: OMG is wesker this guy is deadly at any range use the handgun to stun, and use trust pucnh for instant kill, witht he bella's, chigio kagi if you are corageous , if not K7+ SA rifle to kill them, keep using shoots to the friggin head for activate trust punch.

wesker-Castle:

Weapons same as village.

Strteg, wesker is an other powerfull character for this palce, due to its silenced handgun it can easly kill the garradors, trust punch will make his day, keep goign to the last floor, kill the garradors there, and keep scoring kills.

wesker-military base:

weapons: same as always.

strategy: as always get a bunch of enemies behind you, but this tiem use trhust ounch for multiple kills.

Wesker-waterworld:

weapons. same as always.

strategy: as always score kilsl with tons of enemies, and then use the greandes/tust punch for easy kills, when 30 go were the slavadors migth show up, and use the K7+SA rifle.

Mercenaries is really hard! The only character that i can 5 star with is Krauser who rocks out loud!

Ada Wong - Snipe the Waterworld Chainsaw to death.
Leo - Shoot and grenade the Machino Guy.
Wesker - Uh... i hate his skills but uhh... try doing a try on the castle.
Krauser - Boom shot with hardcore enemys with just a arm.
HUNK - he needs more stuff but , try doing any of them to see whats best.
