When i start up fallout it crashes when i hit new game.

these are my specs

CPU Speed: 2.33 GHz Performance Rated at: 5.126 GHz

Ram: 4 gb

OS: Windows 7

Video card: Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family

V ram: 1.7 gb

pixel shader: 4.0

vertex shader: 4.0


I'm pretty sure i can run it.

First, make sure you're running the newest drivers for your hardware and operating system. If I had to guess, your problem is the graphics card. Which isn't good, because you're running a laptop and it can't be upgraded. Could you tell me specifically what card you're running? Obviously I know it's 4 series, and even if it's sufficient to run the game; it might not be compatible.

Update: well I just gave the Intel website a good once-over on 4 series graphics cards, and Fallout 3 wasn't on any of the compatible game lists.

ok well it can be 2 things

1. your specs arn't up to the requirments or

2. you are using mods and one of those mods or multiple are having a conflict or need another mod to work

You're using integrated graphics man. Fallout 3 doesn't support integrated graphics.
