	I was recently banned for my comments in an article about a football/RPG game. Basically: I insulted people who called football soccer. I received a ban. Akira_EX insulted people who call football football. Nothing. I insult tekmosis' intelligence. I get banned. tekmosis insults my intellegence. Nothing. Why is there such inconsistency with the moderators? Note: Also, I would like to say I tried to resolve this with the moderator who banned me, Akira_EX but I was ignored 4 times. And also, I know this will get reported despite the fact there's nothing wrong with it. I'll copy/paste it into a notepad file in case I have to repost it. ------------------- i don't read posts with queer fonts

	Well to an end if you're going to choose to ban a member for flaming you then the smarter decision is to stick to the high road and not send an insult back. Kinda comes off as childish or hyper-defensive if you're going to slap them back with an insult of your own and lay the banhammer down. ------------------- Hey, at least I'm honest

	The biggest difference is that you like to throw around the word idiot which makes a comment go from an argumentative opinion to an insult. Which is why you were banned and not Akira_EX. Also, I don't see where tekmosis banned you. What you said to him further reinforced the ban Akira_EX placed against you but tecmo didn't have involvement in the ban. Finally, I suggest looking up the word hackneyed as I wouldn't classify it as racism and Akira does not mean it to come off that way either.

	Weather he banned you because you were repetitively flaming users or because I had warned you and you chose to yet again throw out insults. Either way both are justifications for a short term ban. We do not reprimand approvers/moderators in a public spotlight. We handle things behind doors and on a 1 to 1 basis. This is the same concept practiced with members themselves. I believe Akira even PM'ed you about it. Members do not publicly need to know who was banned, why and when. This is also why your ban was not a public event, until you brought the topic up yourself. While my response wasn't the best choice of words to use, the point should be taken as an expression of my disappointment that you could not grasp the example I was trying to make and that the behavior you were expressing was not acceptable. If you feel that a moderator/approver is ignoring you, you need to either PM another moderator and if that route fails you can go to a super moderator. 	No, Akira never PM'd me about it. I had no idea who it was that banned me or what for until I PM'd some of the big wigs from GG. I then PM'd Akira (see PM below) and after he wasn't able to answer my questions he started to ignore me. After Akira said there was nothing further to discuss, despite the fact he'd dodged 3 of my questions from my previous PM, I responded with: quote No, don't think I'm just going to accept that as an end to it. * Explain how me calling Americans idiotic is any different to you calling Europeans hackneyed? * Explain how me calling tekmosis an idiot is any different to him calling me a troll? * Explain your view of what trolling is, because it seems warped. Explain the above satisfactorily and I'll drop it. That was when he started to ignore me. Another thing, it seems odd that I would receive a PM from one of Akira's friends saying: "Its actually reallly funny when you argue with Akira lol." How would he know I was having a private argument with Akira if I didn't tell him and bans were meant to be handled "behind doors and on a 1 to 1 basis"? Also you say that I should take your comment as a sign of your disappointment, well I'm not willing to accept that. 	I think you're being a bit quick on the finger pointing trigger. Looking at the comment structure on the GG article it can be seen as an argument between you and Akira_Ex. From the sentence you posted it mentions absolutely nothing about "ban" or "pm". I'm sorry you're not willing to accept that. If you've taken anything I've said the wrong way I apologize. However, I've already explained the situation to you, there's nothing more I can detail that has not already been brought up.
