I did think about that and tried to make them look more teal than light blue but assuming it was done the colours could be tweaked of course. Most likely a darker blue.

"Staff" is too vague a term and is a bit of a misconception. It should be separated into approvers and mods. The only "staff" are neostaff and only one person that works with GG at HQ doesn't have a neostaff or admin tag.

Considering it's not the same as the NeoWikis in that respect, whichever is the highest you've earn will show.
So: Moderator > Approver > Contributor I also had the thought last night that contributor tags could take you to that persons points profile instead of the home page, either works for me. Moderators have all the powers approvers have without actually being on the approver's list, so there won't be overlapping statuses.

That would make it a lot easier then.
The "Grep Staff" label was just an example though in response to LPF. Your ideas sound just as good. How about just having Gamegrep Mod and Approver tags?
I mean Everyone contribute to the site either by rating articles, thumbing up comments, posting news, commenting. I mean you'd have to give everyone who visits the site a contributors tag. That brings me back to my point before about perhaps the Top 10 contributors for the month could get a GameGrep contributor tag, which would be consistent with your standing in the top users for that month (and could be removed if you fall off of that list).

Thats how I was thinking it would be, so people don't just get tags for simple things. But would they still have to reach a gain a certain monthly points?

Colour can always be changed assuming we implement this, pink anyone?
 If you darkened the blue I suggested it wouldn't look admin, more like an aqua sort of colour. Doesn't match any set I know of so that could work, I'd rather it stuck to the colour scheme of GameGrep if possible.It could just be Moderator and Approver tags, Contributor tags aren't a necessity. As for this top of all time thing, they could sit there for a while from doing little contributing I feel unless there was a system to monitor how much they do. Wouldn't be an issue for me considering im almost always active on gamegrep as it is.
 As for the colors, what about black or gold? I would love to either of them for gamegrep contributors if you really must have a color for it. Although since most of the gamegrep mods are mods on Neoseeker the color shouldn't matter much anyway. The Approvers on the other hand should get some type color maybe that pink. I think everyone likes black but since it's a post icon colour it wouldn't work for the little man and stuff. =(

Color doesn't have to associate itself with the site. Its just going to make the tag nicer looking. And since if you think about it, most of the colors are already either on the neo site for ranks, or others like green for Wiki contributor, red for mod...etc so there's not many colors left to choose from....in fact its very limited.
