I've been working on improving performance on GG, and have managed to clean up some of the database queries to be more efficient and lightweight. Since it isn't a peak hour right now its hard to see just how effective these tweaks are,and I'm sure there's many other areas where we can improve.

I'll keep an eye on things and try to tweak it as much as possible. The thing is page speed is not a consistent thing: sometimes a page is slow, sometimes it is fast. In the past few days I've noticed quite a few instances where a page would have generation times of 3-4 seconds, which is simply too slow and definitely an area I hope to improve.

I've noticed a few instances where a page has refused to load or been slow to load but figured it was just my computer. Perhaps it was gamegrep?

Its possible those instances were GameGrep, but I've yet to have it timeout altogether, just see it slow. At the bottom of the page there's a timer that tells you how long the server took to generate the page, keep an eye on that when you feel a page took particularly long to load.
