prolly nobody cares, but i finally beat One! (and then beat Lou on my second try!)

but on a happier note, everybody should really keep an eye out in your community for competitions. i was in one yesterday, it was easy, because nobody was even close to my status.
(sadly, however, i lost)

Here are the schematics;
Round 1: each of the competetors (there were 20 of them) will Cult of Personality and one song of their choice on hard (lame, especially since i had to listen to CoP 20 times. i hate it now.)
I went second in round one.
the top five combined scorers (from their two songs) moves on to round two. I came in second. damn difficulty change.

Round 2: each of the finalists, from lowest scorer to highest, (me going 4rth) had to play Cliffs of Dover and one song of their choice on expert. The first three people failed CoD, and i thought i had it in the bag, but then... *gasp* i choked really bad, and phailed CoD. -_-' i was ticked.
Then i played TNotB and only got 400k
i came in 4rth out of 5, but i still got a prize. (wristband, two pins, a poster, window decal...) nothing too expensive.

Round 3: Different competition from the first two rounds, anybody who competed in the first round was welcome back. The play is one song of your choice on any difficulty. Winner is determined by crowd appreciation! That's right, whichever person gets the loudest screams wins a video game party at a theatre (GIANT MOVIE SCREEN!). Whipping out MNiJ with my back turned, and nailing the solos and such, the crowd went crazy. woohoo me, for having no life! but it turned out, i tied with another guy, and in the "scream-off," he beat me by 4 decibels. He was a good sport and invited me to the party though, we're gonna play rock band 6-6.


you should really speak with somebody in your community about holding one. it's great for money making (if a lot of people find out about it) . charge was $6 to enter the competition, $4 to watch, plus refreshments. You never know, you might make the news! there were like... 4 different news crews there, and the local paper. I got interviewed by one of the newscasters, and the paper person, and it aired last night and this morning. it was literally all about me

BTW, there are literally NO GH competitions in my area, EVER. It sucks.

no way was i picking another song. what better way is there to attract crowd attention than playing with my back turned? and he played Rock and Roll all Night -_-'. the only reason he won was because he had a ton of support, and he was very entertaining. w/e, i was still invited to the party ^-^

My disk is finally back after several months. ^-^

I beat One on Hard finally. Don't know why it hadn't happened before?

So, is it just not having played the game in so long, or are the graphics just a tiny bit better on the remastered disk? At least the note chart is brighter, is what I mean.

Now I'm excited, though I'm only really interested in Stockholm Syndrome (which I wanted in GHIV in the first place). Exo Politics would be easy I assume... and I never did like Supermassive Black Hole. Stockholm Syndrome will own though. Still, they could have added Plug in Baby though, that would have been nice (maybe for GHIV).

Now... HURRY UP AND GET DLC NINTENDO!!! Anyone got a date?

Hopefully by the end of the month what with the release of Wii Ware and all. Not sure about the situation with you Aussies though. =\

I don't really mind... I would still be able to go online and VS people on them (even though I'd have no practice on them as I wouldn't be able to do it in Quickplay). SHOULD

I was thinking that DLC would start on the release of Aerosmith GH, but maybe I'm wrong.

We're still not even sure if WiiWare will give us GH3 DLC... They might have abandoned the idea.

And Aussie, it doesn't work like that. The two people online both have to have a certain DLC song to play it against each other. At least that's how it works with the other consoles... to my knowledge.
