After Trial |
|
In the games, I always wondered what happens to the people after the trial. Not your client but the real murderer. What happens? Do they get the death sentence or are they like arrested 4 life? And did April May from the first game get arrested for assisted murder?

Not sure about April May, but I think they all just get arrested unless it says otherwise in the game. I believe Von Karma killed himself, though. I can't remember exactly. The only murderer that we know got the death sentence was Dahlia Hawthorne, she says it herself in the last trial of the game. But yeah, I'm pretty sure they only get arrested.

It seems in this world, the punishment for murder is the death penalty. So all the people who directly murdered someone got the death penalty. People who were indirectly involved, like April May (if I remember correctly, she only played false witness, right?) or Morgan Fey, were indefinitely imprisoned.
It's definitely a harsher world. Especially the whole "guilty until another person is proven guilty" thing... Because it doesn't matter if you've already PROVEN they're innocent! You have to find some OTHER person to blame instead! Sheesh. ------------------- ![]() Yay, I have a banner! Thank you, Sky115!

Morgan Fey and April May were just accomplices to the actual murderers. I don't think they would get the death penalty for it, just time.

Your forgetting Dee. Would she get the death sentence or not, as she killed but it was self defence.

True. Dee's actions were in self-defense.
If I recall correctly, Dee was imprisoned for other things which included covering up the scene of the crime, destroying evidence, framing Will Powers for the murder, and blackmailing Jack Hammer for the "accident" that happened 5 years prior to the murder. In that case, she along with Sal Manella would get time for their actions.

quote screamingabdabsShe actually just thought that Jack was going to get back at her. She just killed him to make sure he never got the chance. It's just like the case with the guy who played the Nickel Samurai. ------------------- Help hatch these eggs!
