No gimmicks, please. I need good level design, refined controls, fun during the playthrought and stuff to do after I beat the last boss.

Heard the original Rush has better and longer stages and much better music.

it does have longer stages & better music, but sonoic rush adventure has the basic seven zones, plus final & extra, but it also has at least 16 hidden island levels (levels about half the size of normal levels), at least 16 because i've found all of them up to number 16, it has good replay value - you unlock scenes & music by completing certain missions, the game has a total of 100 missions, final zone 'big swell' is excelent & the extra boss is the hardest boss in the entire sonic series (in my oppinion), but this game is shorter than the original, how else would I have managed to get the extra zone ending in 4 days?

edit: oh yeah, & it has better gameplay.

Not that I think long game = good game. Learned that after Disgaea. Couldn't continue after I foud that I would need over 40 hours of leveling to have a chance to take on the extra boss.

well, the gameplay on adventure is much better than it was on the original, it's a shame you can beat it in less than 2 days.

no, sonic rush one, well, you need to have beaten extra zone to understand some of the story on this game & this game just so happens to be better & more addictive, so having both games is great!

Sonic Rush is more challenging, but has less life.

Vice Versa for Adventure, it's your preference, if you can put up with Marine.

Better than S3&K? I don't think so. However, in my book, this and the first Rush come very close.

As for new features, you got 16 extra stages (though some very small), the use of both screens in boss fights, sea adventuring in four different styles, and mission based gameplay.

I think Nintendo or Sega should put everything that sonic 3 and knuckles has into the new sonic games for all the console like in the NDS if they make a new sonic game they should include
