I usually get C grades when finishing an Act, but sometimes I will get a B, and I usually get Bs or once even an A on the bosses. What is the trick to getting a higher mark? What is it scoring?

I can tel from that that you're not that great at playing this game, well, the trick is to do tricks, lots of 'em, you also need to keep your time as quick as possible, if you're good enough, you'll get rank A, or even better, rank S!
the trick for the first boss for rank S is, well, on the first phase, when he slams his jaw at you, make sure it's at the direct edge of the arena, that way, when you jump at him, keep on moving towards the invisible wall at the edge, this way, you won't get shoved off by the force of the collission, in the second phase, the strategy doesn't work as well, but it can be helpful, remember to do this as quickly as possible.

Umm.. they do affect your score. But mostly just in boss stages.

I found the ranks listings guide on wiki, but I can't find it again, I have them on word at school, but term ended earlier, so if you let me wiat untill I get back to school, I can e-mail it to myself & tell you.
