I only have GW prophecies but i want to know what is the best class for doing PvE solo and an excellent choice for PvP

There's no way to solo ALL of PvE, if you're not counting just with Henchman, but with a Warrior you can solo quite a few places really easily. Warriors are also extremely powerful, and as such are an important part of most balanced teams in PvP.

OnionKnight is absolutely correct. Warriors are easily the best tanks in the game [assuming you want to solo as many places as you can] but you WILL need party members in order to beat PvE. The last mission is prophecies is a bitch and you sure as hell are going to need some backup. For PvP purposes, it really depends on the team you're facing. I've faced a warrior [part of one of the top ten guilds in the world] in PvP and he killed our whole team by himself. Mind you, that situation is highly unlikely unless you're facing against a really noob team or you're just really good. I recommend taking warrior given your purposes but I highly encourage you to finish PvE before going into PvP. Completing the storyline gives you much more knowledge on builds you think would be effective in online play and will greatly strengthen you once you do go into PvP. Good luck!
