I didn't. I only died once doing it on God mode.The only hard part is really dodging the fire.

Number 1 rule in Gd of War games; almost always block. Its your friend. Especially in God mode. Best two hits and block, and rinse and repeat. Its the only way for you to survive. Me i didn't die against him, he was easy. However i did die at the end of the game.

Just do strong attack then block and repeat do a zig zag near the end when hes at the top roll jump etc press o then repeat

Yeah i think the basilisk part was by far the lamest part of the game. I know it was the beginning and that it had to be easy but wow was it easy. lol

What!? The gates of Attica level has the be the funnest level for me.It was the level with the most action where you fought 3 bosses.

I think it's one of the most impressive in the game. The battle in the background of the ships, the Basilisk in the background...
Most of the other levels are just hallways and enemies, again and again. ------------------- | |
