Is it just me, or does this game freeze a lot, forcing you to restart the console?
Ive had it freeze about 6 times now, sometimes in game, sometimes at loading screens.
Its happend twice in Half Life, at least 4 times in Portal and once in TF2.
Its getting a little bit annoying now.

It has happened to me twice. Only in HL. And only when I was changing settings. Yes, Orange Box for ps3 is a bit problematic, but oh well. Good content for the price, I'd say.

No, this is a lot worse.
Its happening constantly for all the games.
Im stuck on a level in one room in Portal, partly because its tricky but mainly because im constantly restarting it.
I was playing HL2 this morining and that froze, and the furthest ive got on TF2 is about 1 and half rounds in, then that freezes to.
Not only that, but when i cant be arsed to try and get it to work again and just go onto Warhawk, that usually freezes before the end of the round.
There is something seriously messed up with this.

Hm. I would suggest getting a new disk. Which ps3 you have?

The original one.
And i just finnished portal.
It was test chamber 15 that kept *bleep*ing up, but it didnt screw up through the rest of the game.
I guess it was just that chamber, for Portal, anyway..

Just bought this game for 15£ (brand new).

So far it has frozen on me one time during a loading scene. I recently experienced the exact same thing only it was Oblivion at that point. Both times I have played for 5+ hours, which I believe is contributing to the cause. I wouldn't recommend playing for more than 3 hours at the time.

Those are the only game-freezes I have ever experienced on the ps3.

It happened to me several times in HL2E2. It is darn annoying. ..
