well,on tf2 it wont let me play, like when i press quick match it just says after searching a bit; no matches could be found. yes i have live, yes it checked my storage device and everything.

Um, just go back to the main menu and search for quick player match again.
If that doesn't work, your NAT settings are most likely to be set to STRICT. You need to set them to OPEN. -------------------  | |

Play a player match, not a ranked match, as there are generally more people.

Maybe there isn't any people? This game sometimes doesn't have any game going on. Not bery often but it happens to me.
