I went to Game. It was pretty stupid but it was boxing day and all the shops were mobbed and I didn't want to be in a que for half an hour on my own so I bought it there.

I couldn't resist, so I definitely played Portal first. Then I tried out Team Fortress 2 briefly, and then played through the Half-Life 2 games in order.

Portal, then TF2, Half Life 2: Episode 2, then Half Life 2.
Beat Portal first, switched to HL2, then the occasional TF2 match.

Don't play HL2: Episode 1 because I already beat it on the PC.

I played Portal first, I then attempted to play TF2, got my bottom kicked so I played Half Life 2, went back to TF2, then Ep.1, then Ep.2

I played and beat Half-Life 2 ages ago, so I wound up doing it again on the Xbox (though the achievements are a little iffy at times...). But first, I played Portal, and ate every freaking second of it. My eight-year old nephew wanted to play, but I told him he'd have to pry it out of my cold, dead hands first. >:} But really, I was glued to that game; it was epic.

After that, I went through HL 2 (which I mentioned earlier for no apparent reason other than to confuse you), a lot of TF 2, some Episode One (attempt at winning with just a Gravity Gun, once again. I can never seem to pick up a heavy object in time to be effective...), and then I got stuck at TF 2 again.

Once you get used to class weaknesses and strengths, it's obnoxiously fun. (Except for the Demoman. But that rant's for another day. Hour. Minute. Thread. Post. Ahem.)
