O.K i am a great sniper but no one will admit it and they say my tactic is nooby even though when they use it I still rape.
Basically my tactic is fully powered sniper shots to the body which do an astounding 150 damage.
This kills almost anything that tries to kill me and I get h8 messages(mostly from other snipers) that say i'm a jerk and/or noob for doing this.Are they right or am i just doing something that makes sense and not trying for stupidly impossible headshots when a body shot will do just as well.

Hey as long as you get the kill and the points who cares what the people your killing say.

Obviously I would respect your abilities as a player much less if you go for bodyshots instead of banging out the headshots, but I certainly wouldn't send "h8 messages" over it. tbh I'd just feel glad that I'd managed to anger a bunch of raging kids if I were you.

You actually get an extra point for headshots and body shots don't kill heavy's,soldier's,pyro's,or Demomen

But I can headshot them and I normally just use a body shot so they'll go back for health and I'm prepared to get a headshot next time they come out.

I can do headshots it just makes sense to do bodies for me.

don't worry, there's always jerkoffs on every game telling you that "you killed them wrong" if VALVe only wanted you to get head shots, they would have made it that way

I don't see why people would get so angry at that. Why waste time with a head shot if a body shot will kill them just as well? Even if soldiers and some other class can survive a fully-charged body shot, chances are they aren't at full health anyway (especially since I'm usually behind allied lines in an attack/defend match). Really, all they would need is a good spy to kill you if they can't stand you. (less depending on map/team status)

I prefer the body shots myself as people don't tend to stand around for me to line up a head shot. If I can get one, great, if not, body it is.
