Actually, the pick stylus was never confirmed, it was just a marketing strategy. And since I own the game. I can, in fact, say it does own.
However, it's almost nothing like guitar hero, except for the guitar fromat and preprogrammed songs. ------------------- quote RoxlimnTry to tell me that isn't true. Go ahead. Try it.

Nearly everyone I know with a DS has this game, so I'm here to check it out. Seems like a great game for the DS.

Yes, you use your stylus as the pick, and the entire touch screen is the "virtual string". If you're right handed, you use the d-pad to change cords; if you're left handed, you use the A, B, X & Y buttons.
There is a freeplay mode, and another mode where you can play songs Ubi put on the game. I was really surprised to see a Nirvana song on there... even though "The Man Who Sold the World" was by David Bowie - Nirvana just did a cover of it, but I like Nirvana's version a lot better. In both modes, you can choose to record (I think it's in both) and you can sing too, and it records your voice. Another cool thing is that you can customize the background and look of the virtual string. And no, this game is nothing like Guitar Hero. I, however... suck at this game. >.< Well, I guess you can't suck at it... but, meh. I'm not good at this sort of thing. I got a little bit better since I bought it Wednesday, but not much. Very fun and addicting. -------------------

so at a scale of 1 to 10 (1 is worst 10 is best game ever!!!) what would you rate this game? And do you recommend it for everyone who owns a DS?

I'd give it about a 7. It's one of the most innovative titles I've ever seen and it can become very emmersive. However, if you don't like music (yeah, right), then you will not like this game. Also, the replayability depends one each individual. The included songs can be blown through really fast, and then the only thing left is to play your own songs in free play or learn to play your favorite songs.
All in all, it's a great game. ------------------- quote RoxlimnTry to tell me that isn't true. Go ahead. Try it.
