I rented the game the day it came out and I couldn't be happier that I didn't buy it. If you have to play it, don't waste your money buying it, just rent it.

I've been a fan since I played 04 and to be honest, 08 is the worst by far.

The putting is impossible, you can't choose which skills you want to upgrade, they left out the event calendar and sponsorships, and it keeps freezing.

the putting is so simple its unreal, u line it up where u think then get a putt preview n theres the line its going in, i suggest a bit of practice for you might help. i have been on other forums, and your the first to complain about putting.

you do skills training, which then upgrades what u want, you just train in a specific area and it gets upgraded..as far as i have seen the calender is there, along with tiger challenges. ive also had the game for a few weeks and ive had no problems with it what so ever.

I'd suggest for you to stick to 04 then if this game is rather difficult for you.

I bought it a few weeks ago and haven't stopped playing it since. I really enjoy the franchise, despite the increased difficulty with putting. I mean in 04 there was no doubt, where the putt would end up, with all the newer games it's a bit different and you have to use your best guess to track the green and figure out the ups and downs. With '08 there is a putting preview that is displayed 1 time per putt stroke, so you can get an idea of how the ball will travel.

I do not have high sped Internet here in Iraq, so I can't use the multi player online, but I think it's a great game on a local network and single player. I would have to recommend getting this game.

I have this game. The putting is easy i got used to it after a few rounds on playing.

You cant choose what stats to upgrade when you play a game however if you had went to skills training you would have saw it asks you which skill you would like to improve the unrealised potential. This is how you improve your skills faster!

This is a good game and PGA Tour 2004 was the easiest one ever im sure. I could win everything on that game. On this its abit harder which is good and more of a challenge.

You cant handle being rubbish on a game thats not my fault grow up and deal with it.
