here are some pretty simple instructions!

You go to the GTS in Jubilife city (you have to have wireless internet or a WI-FI USB connector and have beat the first GYM) then you deposit a pokemon it it and when it says "Checking GTS Status" you count how many revolutions the clockin the bottom right corner does to the exact click (there's eight clicks in one revolution) and once it deposits it you take it back out of the GTS. Then you deposit it again and about 2 clicks away from the end (cause you counted it last time) you turn it off!

Keep in mind this is as simple put as I can do so it might take a while to get the hang of... also keep your DS as still as possible the whole time, I recomend you put it on a table!



I have heard lately from a person (on neoseeker) that when they tried to clone on the GTS they actually LOST 70 hours of save data

So there is aparentally a downside to this...

I read somewhere on Gamefaqs and IGN that the game has some sort of double save back-up feature so it is impossible to lose your data. I've managed to clone before, but do you really suggest putting the Pokemon in the GTS and then back out every time just to get a better estimate of how many rotations it will take for the real try? It seems to be different with me every time, but I've also come to the conclusion that it may have to do with how many people are using the GTS. I actually think that was a good idea to check each time before you do it to get a range, since it may be a bit off each time. It may take a while because it takes forever to withdraw and deposit a Pokemon from the GTS, but this glitch has worked for me. I used it to clone a few TMs, which I found useful.

way to ruin it for the people that clone other peoples pokemon for profit. hah, I'm just messing with you, they were bound to figure it out eventually.

I just clone since people who clone lose their guys or stink at it XD

yep, I came to you for help cloning a darkrai that was being difficult once, but I've gotten better and now I get it to work about half of the time

I'm ok at it. I've gotten it to work about 4 or 5 times now. Sometimes I get lucky and sometimes my luck is just horrid. Any of you have any specific tips for getting the timing right? It's always different so you never know when to turn it off, and if you're even barely too late, your Pokemon goes up to the GTS. It's so annoying.

i am trying to clone my shiny shaymin, but i havnt beaten the league so what pokemon should i put up?

Manaphy hatches at level 1. I've cloned it. I've also cloned my own Shiny Shaymin. You can ask for anything you want, but I recommend Level 9 or Below Arcues since no one ever has an Arcues on the GTS, and if they did, why hack it at level 9?

My question stands. Any tips to help on the timing?

I wouldn't ask for level 9 or below arceus or any other ones that people usually hack to get because they can make them at low levels. I usually put in Giratina under level 9, they can get it in either version so they dont need to hack it.

Omg do you guys know anything? FFS if you put up a pokemon for DarkRai you will never get it, same for Arceus. Thats why when cloning ALWAYS ask for a DarkRai or Arceus, I asked for an Abra once while cloning and lost my Mew. You cannot trade DarkRai or Arceus on the GtS, there for all your cloning guys are safe.

I think you're confused. I think you think you've been offered something. I think he was just saying that when you go to clone something you should put your request as something that nobody'll have. That's what I think

But if you're just asking what you should put in as your request seeing as how you havn't seen them. You could probably be safe asking for Heatran, Dialga, Palkia, or any of the Sinnoh legends under level 9.
