Alright, I don't think it needs to be said that scamming has been a major issue as of late, and it's time to draw the line. We will NOT have this in this forum. This is a serious problem that will carry serious consequences.




Examples:

Trading a pokemon with different IVs than offered.

Trading a pokemon with more than 510 EVs or just an incorrect EV spread in general.




Examples:

The user disconnected after taking one pokemon in a 2 (or more) for 1 trade.


There may be more cases, but you get the general idea.




If you wish to make an accusation, PM Quierta or mettaur_15. This is NOT a process to be taken lightly, however, so the PM MUST contain the following details:

1. Title MUST be in this format: [Scammer Report] *username*

2. The user's Neoseeker username and any aliases they may have that are within your knowledge.

3. The user's Friend Code and In-game name.

4. Detailed evidence against the user. The only forms of evidence that will be accepted are posts (include links), screen shots (host on the internet and link me), and of course the Pokemon themselves. Any other form can be fabricated with ease.




We will judge each situation based on given and our own gathered information. If there isn't enough conclusive evidence, a case will be abandoned. If we ask a question of the accuser or the accused, we expect it to be answered timely and truthfully. If we want to examine something, don't drag your feet, just give us your friend code and hand it over for inspection. Withholding evidence will only incriminate you. This is not a popularity contest, so the details of the accusation are only to be discussed by us and the parties involved, unless more evidence is being contributed.




Users proven to be scammers will have their information listed in this thread for the record of others in addition to being banned from the sub-forum for as long as we see fit.

Users proven to be making a false accusation for whatever reason will be dealt with on a varying scale.
