I got it.

i dont really do gamer points as they are ponitless, i mean i get them as i go through the game, but if the only reason yoru playing a game is for the points its pretty gay. only game i have 1000 on is fight night and thats coz its a straightforward complete career mode to get them type of thing. if you get some MS points to spend for reaching so many that would be an added incentive but still games shouldnt need these achievements to give them extra life,they should just be that good. so i am for and against.
i have about 300 on this game,and will only get the ones that i happen to get,like for completing levels,i got 1 for fending off a dog and saving that chap on the stairs,all by accident...

Gotta get the FNG and Mile High Club.

I'll be done with them after that.

Just finished Mile High Club with ~4 seconds left.

Hardest level I've played in a while. When I perfected my strategy I was able to do it much faster. I was panicing in the last area every time and running in with too little ammo to move the bodies out of the narrow hallway.

I was on 860/1000 for a while. And today I just went for the last 5 achievements that I needed, 2 of them weren't hard - just getting intel and the TV one. But the last 3 achievements on Veteran are very hard, and Mile High Club is insanely difficult. But, I did it. In one short of 90 attempts on Veteran difficulty.


So yes, I finally got 1000/1000.

I'm now official in the CoD4 1000 club. I was sitting at 980/1000, but had to take the game back to the rental place; the disk was faulty anyway. I now own the game, so I got the rest of the intel this morning, and am an official inductee.

Done as of today. Just finished the game on Veteran, definitely one of the best games I've played on the Xbox 360. Took me about one month to do.
