Do you guys like the ACOG on the Barret? I've never seen anyone use it, but I unlocked it just a few mins ago and haven't used it.

It's quicker to come up....I haven't unlocked it...but if I pick it up...I use it

No. It's a sniper. I wouldn't use it.

It's the stepping stone to the M40, helps you get those close range kills when you miss the first shot, something you can't always do with the M40.

Putting an ACOG on a sniper has the effect of making it a medium ranged weapon instead of long range. You will no longer have the option of steadying your aim. The scope will sway less than the sniper scope, but there is less zoom. You will not have much wider of a view, however, because the ACOG takes up so much of the screen when you look through it. I personally hate the ACOG on a sniper rifle, but there are people who use it regularly.

I think if you already have the ACOG on a good mid-range weapon, like G3, M16A4, for a point weapon, then I think you should just keep the regular scope on the long range rifle.

That way...you'll have more versatility switching between your classes. Mid-range vs. Long range

why?

.50cal with an ACOG is amazing... You don't have to breath in and the scope moves around easier... It's also useful when you are sniping people from afar and some guy thinks he's sneaky and gets up close- It's much easier to kill him.

I hate it on any sniper. The range is to close for me...

Just use the M21 with Stopping Power.
And learn to double tap LT.

My mate uses this. It's wierd and he doesn't do too good with it but he seems to like it.

My brother always uses the M40A3 with the ACOG Scope. He's pretty good with it to be honest. I can't use it very well, I stick with the normal sniper scopes, which I am really good with.

I can't say I've ever seen anyone use this. There's probably a good reason for that aswell.

ACOG snipers dont do it for me.i think a sniper has enough range as it is and if you put some added range on it it makes ur shots harder.
