Britain was barely competing w/ france or spain... then America and germany overtook it as a world power in lik e1850's during industrial revolution. America's history classes arent biased like those that are in uk where they have to bend the truth to defend their countries greatness... just face it what would you rather have ur country name, America or Brit-ain?
