I figured to increase acitivty in the forum, I'd create a General Discussion thread for everybody to use. Feel free to use this thread to discuss anything you want, just as long as it still remains within the site's general rules (i.e. no random spamming, flaming, or advertising)

I think we did back when we had a different mod (Kjgmusic, I think) but it never really started up again after he demoted. I figured it was time to bring it back.

I was trying to come up with something witty and funny to bring to the brand new GD thread, but I got nothing. I hope we can get some more life in here though...I understand why the MW2 forum is popular, but people could come back in here as well while we wair for MW2.

Finally, I knew this forum was missing something.
And Caanon, Depends if there is a link in the MW2 forum doesn't it? ;D Also, I remember seeing somewhere that IW were going to stop using numbers in the names for there games. Hence why its called CoD: MW, not CoD6: MW. But, its MW2, so they are still using numbers. Well, I think that may be so that they can distinguish their games from the ones made by treyarch. Maybe they will set them up as two franchises, with modern warfare being made by IW, and the WWII games being made by treyarch. I dont have any inside info or anything to know that they did it for that reason, but it seems to make sense in my mind.

You guys like WWII style shooters, Modern shooters, or Alien Future shooters? I like Modern and Future style games better than WWII, but WWII games are still fun.

I hate alien shooters I would say Modern warfare but I like the nostalgia of WWII weapons but that feeling has run out with this game.

I used to like WWII games a lot more, but they seem to be all the same. Kill the Nazis, take over the building, kill more Nazis, etc. Good games, but very repetitive as far as campaign play. I did like the Pacific front in the latest COD, made for a nice change.
