Once I got COD5 I tended to play COD4 a whole lot less because obviously I was completing the story and getting to rank 65 in Multiplayer but earlier ago I played a bit of COD4 and I noticed that players seem to play a lot differently and there are just s many snipers.

I was playing Bog and everyone was using long range weapons, when I used to play there were players going to the other side of the map not anymore.

Anyone else notice this?

The problem is with COD4 nowadays is that everyone knows the game too well. Everyone knows every map inside out, so also know which guns work best on each map. Makes it a lot harder to play, because all best known techniques and hiding spots are too well known. As you mentioned with Bog, everyone is using long range weapons because they suit best, and everyone is constantly checking the best routes round the map. It hella annoying and makes it really difficult to play, but when Modern Warfare 2 comes out, it'll be back to normal because of new maps. All you can do till then is be unorthodox, ie using different routes around (like the underground paths on Pipeline) and just checking round the usual places.

Use, it's absolutely horrible. They don't even know the basics of sniping.

ACOG snipers suddenly everywhere.

I haven't really noticed anything different, except for lobbys in which everyone has prestiged at least once. But. I do agree on the shitty snipers nowadays.
