Anyone else have this problem? |
|
I've rented this game, just to try it out, and I don't exactly like the lie that I've been handed.
To explain: I tried the game on normal, but upon being ripped apart time and again in the prologue, I switched to easy. I'm now on the third act and I'm right back where I started. The enemies are thick as a heavy rain. I can't even get out from behind cover to plant some bombs on the frickin' Dreadnought. I haven't died, but I can't get out from behind cover without getting shot by three or more dozen snipers and two rocket wielding jumpers. Anyone else think that 'easy' is code for 'it's only easy until you get past the prologue'? ------------------- *I brake for catgirls and fire fights*- My ideal license plate.

It's always possible that you could maybe just suck at the game.
I'm on normal and the only times I really die is when I do something stupid, like accidentally causing the roof to collapse on me. I hardly think it's a lie. It's just a challenging game. A damn good one, too. -------------------

I'm actually fairly good at this game, but I'm overly outnumbered and out gunned. Even when there is backup, they only get shot at if I have to protect them. If they don't need to live, I may as well be twice as tall without any weapons or sheilds.
I'm not bad, but I'm only one gamer without Live. The number of enemies matters when they have cover or can jump obscenely high. That's what my problem is, along with weak shields, low ammo, and my frugal-ness with my grenades when they are needed for the Dreadnought. ------------------- *I brake for catgirls and fire fights*- My ideal license plate.

I agree with you Megsas MkII. There are so many damn enemies, and it gets so boring having to kill them all, so I just try and run past them to get to the next bit. It fails every time of course. It is a boring game.
