ok so who are the two tough guys that i can look forward to in FFIV kakarot ...or anyone else?

HAHA.. What I was saying is threads should only be made for one topic. Like let this thread be just for the super monsters... Then for locations you can ask another thread. So if someone searches they can find all the help you get easily.

Geryon and Proto-Babil are the two special bosses..
I will tell you how to get them so you will know. You must steal dark matter from the final boss on your first playthrough. Then on the second playthrough you can fight them...

Geryon is kinda like all the elementals put into one with 200,000 hp.. Really hard unless above level 70ish.

Proto-Babil is like a prototype of the tower of babil monster. Hardest boss in the game. Has 400,000 hp and is just really hard.. 90+ is good levels for him 99 on playthrough three is best. Plus you need at least a set of the armor from the tails and also a admant armor is good...

that should keep me busy.

They are pretty hard.. Proto is usually best to wait until your final playthoruhg so you can get max stats..

I suggest playing once to watch the story just for fun..

Restarting completely. Then getting hte righ augments by following a guide.. Then getting all the tails.. Then going through round 2 quickly getting the rest of the augments then in the third playthrough doing everything.

Yea this is in my top five games. I have all the copies beaten except one that was on a different weird platform. I think jon24 had it...

I have beaten the game 3 times and have max characters.

I have also beaten both of these super bosses.

nice. well right now i just went to the underworld and got beat by golbez,so i need to train some more.

Eh it's an easy battle just need to know how to win.

well right when Rydia shows ups he goes with fira and takes her out before i can even get steady by reviving others

Err.. Don't revive anyone... He pretty much won't attack if you follow my orders.

When she first comes rydia has hit him with dragon, so he changes his barrier around. Use cecil's libra to see what he is weak to and have rydia cast it. Then he will change barrier. Repeat.

i didn't know that!
i beat him already but i had to go the long way around by beating him with low hits.
only cecil made it out alive.alas.
anyways....i didnt know you could use Sight in battle i thought it was only for maps and stuff.

Libra tells you the hp of enemies and their weaknesses and I think defenses also.. Cid has something else that does it to. Analyze I think.

I thought that was Libra, or does sight act diffrently in battle.

It is Libra.. It's been a few weeks since I've played the game. It is one of cecils commands that shows target stats.. Sorry I edited my posts to be correct in case anyone else comes across this thread.

oh ok...i think when i was fighting him i did cast it and it didnt work.
