I need your opinion. Both these guys kick ass and they both deserve the title. So, thoughts?

Jecht no doubt. linkable HP attacks and high damage.

I agree. However Squall damage in EX burst is unmatchable and jecht's doesnt do anything special other let him do combos without hitting the opponent. and getting a perfect hit in EX burst is much easier in squall than jecht.

do you know that when Jecht's in EX mode. AND when you're near opponent or when you slam opponent onto walls. i can miss my first two kicks. BUT I 100% hit him again with my 2nd combo. that is a no way run combo dude!

I have to throw in tat Squall is Kickass and pwns every character. I can't use Jecht =P. Sephiroth is my second best haha. SQUALL FTW!

But real men can hit with hp attacks. Therefore, Jecht. Although Squall has more range, probably slightly more brave damage and an awesome ex mode, being able to actually damage the other guy takes it for me. Jecht Block of Awesome helps too. With an ex build, Squall matches up quite well because Jecht won't have any brave to do damage if you keep ex mode-beat fang-ing him.

I have to add that Cloud of Darkness is an amazing character too. I pwn with her 0-form particle beam. It kicks ass.

Hmmm...me and you are alike when it comes to what characters we use.

Um yeah my vote is Squall. I like prefer his ground game over jecht.

I actually don't use bravery attacks with my Squall. I have him set up to have no bravery attacks and his accessories get pumped up by the lack of no bravery hits. Its pretty effective to tell the truth. Revolver Drive and Rough Divide are my two major attacks. I don't much like Fated Circle and Aerial Circle to tell the truth... Blasting zone is also very effective. It always makes my friends mad when they get hit by that haha.

i would say squall only because he has "beat fangs" lol. that move pwns everyone and everything. jecht isn't so bad, but i find it harder to land an hp attack using him than squall. it's weird.
