I'm not sure if this has been posted but do you level up your character like in an RPG and get experience after fights?

Yep! You can go all the way up to level 100, just like every other FF.

Yeah, knew abilities and attacks, as well as the ability to equip more powerful weapons.

speaking of stronger weapons, is there a change in how a weapon looks in battle when equiped? As ive yet to see a change in a video.

From what I've heard,no,the only time a character's weapon changes (in look) is when the weapon changes when a certain character (cloud,Squall,and firion for example) when they go into EX mode. But Cloud does use a different sword with his advent children costume than with his normal costume.

Sweet, I never knew there was a levelling system. However, can anyone elaborate how deep it goes? (what it changes)

I think it changes the character's HP,CP (which you need to equip attacks),and gives you new attacks. But I don't have the game yet,so I don't know for sure (it hasn't come to america yet ).

Yeah it's supposed to be like Kingdom Hearts. Level up and get new abilities and such.
