As far as it goes to "Transformation" i would have to say i like Jecht, Sephiroth, Onion Knight (Ninja), Golbez, Exdeath, KEFKA!

Worst Transformation, would have to be by far Kuja's, next CoD and then evertyng that transofrms like Ultimecia and Zidane.

Most usefull i would say Shanttoto as her BRV does NOT go down when you hit with an HP attack.
also Jecht's since if you have a good handle on him you can combo even if the enemy dodges.

Sephiroth is good in a wide stage, since you can use Heartless Angel and the Black Materia.

most useless... i don't realy know.

I find Firion's Ex-mode awesome. Not the thing itself really, but his Ex-Burst is insane. It does an above average amount of damage that will probably break 80% of the time, and then it will heal you for the damage, not counting the heal that you get from the hp attack you used to get into Ex-Burst. It can change a match incredibly easily.

It looks really cool too

Emperor's is pretty good too, but because it is harder to land a hp attack with him IMO it is harder to get into. It has the awesome blood magic thing, but is less powerful, has an awkward command and is kinda boring to look at.

i also had the feeling that Firion's EX mode was a bit more powerfull than average ones. good thing i am not the only one, and i neevr took that healing into consideration

An the Emperor can be pretty bad if you fail... if you fia to hit it once you are done
and yeah it sucks to look at....

EX Mode:

Terra. Doublecast is just plain overpowered. Meteor > Meteor > Double Holy > 8 Flares > Ultima > Ultima > EX Burst is almost a guaranteed OHKO.

Squall. Normally he's already a huge brave stealer. With 2 hits per hit it's even worse.

Shantotto. Two-hour ability = awesome.

Gabranth. Just fun to use.

Jecht. Ability to continue combos without needing to hit.

Ultimecia. Time Crush.

EX Burst:

Exdeath. Possibly the most epic EX Burst in the game. Come on, he completely mutes the game.

Golbez. TRANSCEND THE STARS!

Gabranth. Looks awesome.

Firion. Looks awesome and freaking HEALS you.

I personally like Cloud's, because his EX modes are equipped Ultima Weapon or in his alternate costume the power of mako. Favorite EX move is Omnislash a 14-15 hit combo.

Shantotto's EX mode is by far the best,because her bravery doesn't go down after HP attacks,but Terra's is great too,it makes it alot easier for her holy combo to hit .


I like Gabranth's EX burst alot,partly because of what he says during it ("Know this pain!",and "Surrender now to Oblivion!" are my favorites). I also think Squall and Cloud's EX bursts are good too.

yeah Squall's Renzokuken move is pretty good but lacks alot for a 10 hit or more combo.

It could be better,but it would probably be really broken if lionheart had the full amount of hits it did in FFVIII. It added somewhere around 10 more hits in VIII.

EX mode in appearance is Zidane and Kuja. Am I the only see this like ss4? The tail...the hair...the color of hair...

Those arent like Dragonball GT. But I see the comparison.

I personally like Bartz Ex ability Goblin punch. Coolest Ex-mode for me would be Jecht's Final Aeon mode. No real fav burst.
