Customisation |

Hmm. That's spelt wrong.
Anyway, have any of you guys been on the site and made a character yet? There are quite a few cool things. The Insignias, for example. However, I'm not so sure I like the fact that customisationreplacesthe class system. Means that you will either have to change before every level, or just make a character that you will never get bored of. And that won't be easy as you need to get credits to customise your character. Any thoughts? ------------------- Credit to SXH

Every enemy is randomized, so the class system is nearly entirely gone. That, and certain units altogether are gone (Droidekas, etc). However, Droideka shields can be equipped as a personal shield on any soldier.
It's an odd twist, and I would have preferred they keep the baseline classes there. If you needed to change tactics really quickly, you have to go through the trouble of readjusting your pointset to meet max 100cred requirements. Takes too long. Plus you can only save one customization option. Better an idea would be if you can customize all three soldier types as their own classes, and the AI would use those three, and you'd be able to change them while playing (only newly spawned AI types would inherit the changes, so no insta-cheating). Overall, you can tell it's a small game, meant for a small system, but they did all they could do (Rebellion). Not the best developer, but they surely tried. What it amounts to is better than the horrendous BF2 port on the PSP, with it's malicious edits, making the game even more empty and souless than BF2 already was. This however, all comes to head in infrastructure games. Everybody uses their own custom soldier, so the tactical equation shoots through the roof in that aspect. They still managed to make offline play fun though, which I was expecting would be the case. So what's your favorite setup? Regardless of soldier body/etc, my personal fav is...

My new load-out is:
Blaster Rifle Fusion Cutter Clust Grenades Jump Pack Stamina power-up Speed 10 Health 10 Capture Rate 15 I only ever change in space, where I change Stamina power-up for Auto-repair, and get rid of the Speed. ------------------- Credit to SXH
